Art for All Ages

Program Description:                                                                           

Busy Hands: Moms and their hip huggers (toddlers) will have a chance to let loose some creative energy. We will play, discover and explore the wonderful world of art together. This class will meet on Monday mornings for 14 weeks (through the second week of December). A new class will start in January 2009. Busy Hands classes will meet for one hour, once a week.

• BH Registration: $25 non-refundable session
• BH Materials: $50 (one time)
• BH Tuition (monthly): $85 due on first class day of each month.

Creative You is your way to rejuvenate, refresh and invigorate the sides of you that need balance. You are a mom and so many other things! The creative side nurtured means you will find a well spring of strengths within your self that add quality to your life. We will experiment with as many different art media as time allows. Members of the class can submit ideas on the direction they hope the class will take. Art nourishes the spirit. You know what they say about when mom is happy...

This once a week class will last 14 weeks (through the second week of December). Class can continue into 2009 if demand exists. Creative You classes will meet for one hour & 30 minutes, once a week.

Art for Homeschoolers: A variety of media will be introduced while students learn about master artists from history and today.

Young Masters:  A class especially designed for the ages between child and adult...'tweens and teens'. For some projects, we will be re-using, re-cycling and re-thinking objects that can make art. Art is everywhere and students will begin to see that. The theme of this class is not solely "green". Students' endeavors will include strengthening drawing skills and adding entries in sketchbooks every week. Sudents will foray into altered art, the craft world's latest craze. A thread of valuing the earth and all its resources will run through the class. Young Masters classes will meet for one hour & 30 minutes, once a week.
