Nancy Neel Brown

Nancy is a state certified art educator and has been an art teacher for over 20 years. In 1992 she was awarded Teacher of the Year at her elementary school in the Orange County Schools. As teacher and owner, Nancy is devoted to the studio’s effort to bring the innovative shapes and forms of art to the community and to insure a quality learning experience for our future leaders and artists.

Specifics

• Classes are opened based on demand and instructor availability. A class requires a minimum of 5 students to open. School Year classes can take place Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. A Saturday morning class is also possible if there is adequate enrollment. Weekday morning classes are available for home schooled children and also Art Start classes - not in kindergarten yet. (4 & 5 yr olds)
• School Year Classes, if open, are structured so students can register/enter any time throughout the year.
• Class times vary, beginning after public schools let out for the day. See CLASSES for schedule.
• Classes are limited to eight students to ensure a quality learning experience. Sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis.
• Summer Session (Summer Art Camp) (usually June - July) Not available for the 2008 summer , are one week sessions with classes 2 hours long, in the morning and/or afternoons. Class sizes vary.

• Home School classes at our studio are encouraged and recommened for the regular School Year during the morning.

Processing: Enrollment/Registration

• Please make checks payable to: Local Color Art Studio.
• Print the School Year Enrollment/Registration Form or the Summer Art Camp Enrollment/Registration Form and follow instructions on how to fill out.
• Mail the appropriate Enrollment/Registration Form with your check to:

• School Year registration fee due with Enrollment/Registration Form. School Year material fee due by first day of class. School Year monthly tuition is due on the first class day of each month.
• Summer Art Camp ( Not available for 2008 summer) tuition due in entirety with Enrollment/Registration Form.
• All mailed correspondence should be addressed to the above PO Box.

Confirmation

When we receive your completed School Year Enrollment/Registration Form or Summer Art Camp Enrollment/Registration Form and check, a confirmation letter will be sent to you; including a map to our studio, dates that Local Color Art Studio will be closed for the holidays and studio policies, including student drop-off/pick-up procedures.
